Product advantages:

• Reliable: the complies with the standard (>1.10m) with a reduced ground clearance limiting any height risk of passing underneath.The opening and closing of the double action latch on each module is clearly visible so no section will be left open by mistake.

• Adaptable: the modules can be cut to the right length using the removable setting stick and can be adjusted to your pool’s environment.

Safety Advice

Keeping an eye on the pool

• Warning, a child can drown in less than 3 minutes in 20 cm of water.
• The pool may be a serious hazard to your children. Drowning occurs very quickly. Children close to a pool require your constant vigilance and active monitoring, even if they know how to swim.
• A parent and/or responsible adult must be present when the pool is open.
• Learn life-saving techniques.
• Memorise and display emergency numbers close to the pool:
• Fire Brigade (18 or 112 in France)
• Ambulance (15 in France)
• Poison control centre.

Safety instructions for the Barriers

• This barrier is no substitute for common sense or individual responsibility.Their purpose is not to take the place of parental and/or responsible adult vigilance which remains the essential factor for the protection of young children.
• Attention! The barrier is only secure when the access is closed and locked.
• The access point must be closed as a matter of routine even in the shortest absences.
• Take all measures to prevent access to the pool by young children if the barrier or access point is being repaired of if the barrier has been removed.
• Make sure there is no object close to the barrier which might encourage or facilitate climbing over the barrier.
• Always check that the access points have been closed on automatic closing systems.

WARNING:

• It is recommended that you install the protective barrier at least 1m from the water’s surface, but not so far from the pool for the barrier to become inefficient.
• - If the protective barrier is combined with one or more walls, these walls should not allow access to the pool by their height (minimum 1.10m between support points) or their own openings (doors, windows locked with a child-proof device).
• Make sure there are no fixed (low wall, rock, bush, etc.) or mobile (tricycle, chair, table, etc.) supports on either side of the barrier within a 1.10m radius.
• Warranty Conditions
• The 12-month warranty applies as from the billing date.
• This warranty includes the repair and/or replacement, at the discretion of AQUALUX, of defective parts corresponding to a manufacturing defect. However, if any investigation carried out by AQUALUX determines that the barrier has been exposed to chlorine or other oxides, or that the barrier was cut or torn as a result of improper use, or that the aluminium pegs were bent or broken as a result of impacts, the warranty will be voided.
• AQUALUX cannot be held liable for the instability of the barrier if it is installed in ground not suitable to support it. In the event of faulty installation, those that installed it will be held solely liable.
